Angelica Garnett was a British writer, painter and artist, and a member of the Bloomsbury Group. She was the daughter of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, and the author of a memoir about her unconventional upbringing.

Angelica Garnett was the daughter of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, and the wife of David Garnett, her father's former lover. She was a writer and artist who collaborated with her parents on murals and wrote a memoir about her family.

Her autobiography ‘Deceived with Kindness’ is an exorcism of the ghosts of her Bloomsbury childhood, in which she writes of her early days at Charleston as ‘a precarious paradise’. Angelica died at her home in the south of France in 2012.

Angelica Garnett (1918–2012) National Trust, Monk's House. Artist, daughter of the painter Vanessa Bell, born at Charleston Farmhouse, Firle, Sussex. In 1936 she attended the London Theatre Studio drama school, in 1938 the Euston Road School to study art, which she then taught at Langford Grove School, 1940.
