If you are trying to program a MTX-838, from what we've heard, you need to use the MTSX software. The RVN4097F ver R02.10.01 RSS package specifically shows it programs the following radios: MT/MTS2000 MTX838/8000/9000.
12 sty 2003 · If I understand you correctly, you would hack the splits in your MTSX if it's the same revision last used on the radio. OR, use MTSX Lab. Your best bet, use the same or newer revision. You should have the original diskette from Motorola so if you tried hacking the bandsplit and screw up the rss you still have the original.
