Zune HD (64GB in my case) is one of the few exceptions to that rule. I just came back from a short few days trip and the HD was what I took with me, as a music player supplement to keep my cellphone battery optimal.
23 sie 2009 · seeing as the zune hd will have hdmi out, and hdmi itself uses spdif to send audio out, it will be interesting to see if it can be used with an external dac much like the irivers once were.
The Zune HD shares a similar design space as non-Sim smart iPods in that they're meant as replacement smartphones whereas the Z30 was designed exclusively as an MP3 player. And personally I think the iPod classic holds up better than any vintage iPod touch.
