15 lis 2020 · Xresolver is a huge problem for competitive gaming, I know it's legal to store ip addresses since its public. I also know that u can grab up addresses from any interaction of data packets. I'm not sure if this would be possible but could u potentially sue for blackmail or extortion as they use your info that u don't want released to make u pay for a blacklist.
13 wrz 2020 · Im sure you guys heard of the Website “xResolver” A website where your IP Address is stored because people who buy “Octo Sniff” Packages and software from the Website. The website was previously taken down but now its back for whatever reason and me and my friends are constantly getting DDoS’ed to our knowledge we have a Static IP meaning it doesnt change upon resetting the router.

10 gru 2020 · There is a site called xresolver.comxresolver.com that let's you type in peoples usernames and it will return there IP if they are in their database. There is a button at the bottom that says "You can request your IP to be removed from this form."

28 wrz 2020 · At this moment xresolver doesnt have my IP, but I think its just a matter of time and they removed the option to delete your IP from the page. Yeah if I get there I will contact my ISP again and try to talk to him, but it just concerns me that such a page exist and MS sucha big company has done nothing with it.
23 wrz 2020 · Why is Xresolver still up? Xbox you know that it is literally used to get people's ip addresses and boot em offline. It's been up for months and that means for months people have been getting unfair games because they are hit offline. In my case it's rainbow six siege. Getting banned for leaving the game when in fact I've been booted offline.
9 maj 2021 · Some people say that searching for your gamertag on that site actually submits your IP address to its database, but I don't know if that's true or not and I'm sceptical that it is, because I could search for someone else's gamertag and it would submit my IP address for them, or I could search for my own gamertag while using a VPN and it would submit the IP address of the VPN.
They also tell you that once you have been blacklisted, it's not a permanent solution as people can just resolve you again. They are also asking for payment in order to process said blacklisting, scamming users into buying the VPN and Blacklist while malicious users also purchase all 3 (OctoSniff, OctoVPN and xResolver Blacklist).
19 lip 2020 · Xresolver Microsoft... please please please do something about the website xresolver. People are able to find out your IP address and find out where you live... and boot your wifi, and xbox offline.
