15 maj 2007 · The other way to find out which power supply your model needs is by inspecting the console's power socket. Each power supply type uses a slightly different socket. The pic below shows the differences that each model has in the power supply socket (ignore the pic's mention of HDMI):
Xbox 360 power supplies are designed with keys in the plug to be forwards, but not backwards compatible. For example, a 203 watt supply would fit and work on a 175 watt console, but not the other way around.
