If you do both on your console, set that to automatic or source. If you only/mostly play games on the console set that to RGB. If you only use the console for video apps, set it to YCbCr.
Not all original Xbox 360 consoles have an HDMI port. Connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI port. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input on your HDTV or monitor.
