The most dangerous country in the world is currently Afghanistan, followed by Yemen and Syria. This was determined by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) at the University of Sydney in 2024. A total of 23 different criteria were evaluated, such as the number of wars fought, gang crime, the murder rate or violent crime.
