24 gru 2004 · The 1300 series barrels will work with your 1200. Even if the 1300 barrel will handle 3 inch shell you can still use it on your 1200 but you won't be able to shoot the 3 inchers, only 2 3/4 inch shells will work. I replaced a barrel on a sears model 120 which is nothing more than a Win 1200.
2 sie 2021 · From what I understand, all 1300 barrels will physically fit on all 1300 models because the receiver ends are made exactly the same. What I'm having a hard time finding information on is about the location of the magazine bracket on the barrels.
The Model 1300 barrels will fit Model 1200 receivers, but 1200 barrels will not fit a Model 1300. Model 1400 barrels will not interchange with Models 1200 or 1300 barrels. The Model 1300 Defender barrels will not interchange with the 1300 Field models and vice versa.
29 paź 2016 · 1200 and 1300 guns are both pump action and their barrels will interchange to receivers as the barrel connecting ends are exactly the same. However, the chambers and receivers are not interchangeable to the shells the two barrels are designed to fire.
8 lis 2021 · To use the Defender barrel you need to replace the magazine tube with a Defender magazine tube. The 1300's mag tube is different from anything else you'll encounter. It isn't brazed in like a Remington nor is it threaded in like a Mossberg but it is held in place by a pressed in plastic "throat".
24 sie 2005 · I've searched this site several times on the matter of Win 1200/1300 barrel interchangeability. I've seen the Winchester site's explanation that 1300 barrels will fit 1200 receivers, but not the other way around. However, post after post refers to 1200 barrels fitting 1300s.
