A system update is a collection of updated titles installed via the “Wii System Update” feature, either from a disc or over the network. The System Menu is typically updated, along with certain IOSes, and sometimes some channels.
The Homebrew Channel is a self-updating homebrew application loader by Team Twiizers which allows users to load homebrew applications without having to run an exploit every time. Once installed, users can access the channel from the Wii System Menu just like any other Wii channel.
it should update on its own if you're connected to the internet. also check to make sure you have updated the system to 4.3 U, E, J, depending on your region. hope this helps
The Homebrew Channel is a channel for launching Wii homebrew applications. It will list homebrew applications stored and organised on an SD card or USB mass storage device in a nice little GUI, which you can very easily customise with descriptions and shiny little icons all by yourself.
A System Update is firmware pushed to your Wii by Nintendo to do any number of these things: - Update the Wii bootloader. - Add new features to the Wii. - Change the System Menu version (and the System Menu IOS for absolutely no good reason) - Try to patch homebrew exploits and delete existing homebrew. - Update various IOSes. - Many other things.
If you can run apps from the homebrew menu you can download the hackmii installer and run it in the homebrew menu and update from there or you can do letter bomb again and install it that way.
