OUC provides water service to residents and businesses within the City of Orlando and portions of Orange County. Water provided by OUC is drawn from the lower Floridan Aquifer and meets or exceeds all standards set by the Safe Drinking Water Act.
Your Water Supply Source. Beneath Orange County lies a freshwater reservoir known as the Floridan Aquifer. It is primarily fed through rainwater filtered through hundreds of feet of sand and rock in a natural filtering process.
A naturally clean water source. OUC’s water comes from the Lower Floridan Aquifer, an underground reservoir that in many places is a quarter of a mile below the earth’s surface. The aquifer is fed by rainwater that is filtered through hundreds of feet of rock, undergoing a natural cleansing process.
