This document provides a step-by-step guide to using the Desautels Faculty of Music recital program template. The formatting information in this guide has been adapted from Drake University’s “Style Guide for Instrumental Recital Programs” and “Style Guide for Vocal programs.”.
This guide is intended as a resource to assist students in the preparation and submission of appropriate information for recital programs.
Download the appropriate template and style guide from the Recital Planning page. Enter the program information using the appropriate formating as detailed in this guide. Send the program as a Word file to the Production Team (musicprograms@ lsu.edu).
Skills assessed in recital include program composition, lyric diction, vocal technique, interpretive skills (song analysis), performance practices (stylistic accuracy), recital etiquette and professionalism.
19 lip 2024 · Students are encouraged strongly to use a template to create their recital program. Margins are 3/4-inch top margin, one-inch side margins, and no less than 1/2-inch for the bottom margin. Avoid using the back when possible.
