29 mar 2023 · The 2022 PACT Act is the most expansive Veterans benefit bill to pass congress in decades. In addition to expanding VA health care and benefits for Vietnam-era Veterans exposed to Agent Orange, it extends coverage for Gulf War era and Post 9/11 Veterans exposed to burn pits, and other toxic substances while serving.

The PACT Act has expanded access to VA disability compensation for Vietnam Veterans. Here are the added locations and presumptions.
All Veterans who meet basic service and discharge requirements and who were exposed to toxins and other hazards while serving our country—at home or abroad—are now eligible for VA health care. This includes all Veterans who served in the Vietnam War, Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, or any other combat zone after 9/11.
