The districts of Vienna (German: Wiener Gemeindebezirke) are the 23 named city sections of Vienna, Austria, which are numbered for easy reference. They were created from 1850 onwards, when the city area was enlarged by the inclusion of surrounding communities.

Vienna District 16, Ottakring. Ottakring is the 16th district of Vienna, a traditional working-class district located in the western area, bordering Hernals to the north and Penzing to the south. Named as a district in 1892, it is made up of two villages: Ottakring and Neulerchenfeld.

Vienna is divided into 23 districts, numbered from 1 to 23. The first district (Innere Stadt – Inner City) is the historical centre (within the Ringstrasse – Ring Street). Districts 2-9 are immediately next to Innere Stadt, arranged in clockwise fashion starting from district 2 in the north-east.
