The suggested solution is deleting the card in Gpay and re-adding it via the Ventra app. Deleting the card from Gpay and renewing it through the Ventra app just brings up a screen in Gpay saying that they're confirming the card with my "bank."

Since last night I’ve been unable to purchase passes on the ventra app. It declines my debit card and Apple Pay (both work as I tested purchases with both). This bad weather is a great time for this to not work properly :(.
