Livestock Weighted Average Report for 10/6/2024 - 10/12/2024. Compared to last week, steers steady to 5.00 higher, spots up to 10.00 higher. Heifers steady to 5.00 higher. Buyers continue to want good long weaned cattle with shots and giving unweaned, unvaccinated calves discounts.
Feeder heifers sold from 5.00 lower to 6.00 higher. Supply was moderate with good demand. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (63% Steers, 35% Heifers, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 64%.
Livestock Weighted Average Report for 10/9/2024 - Final. Compared to last week, 300-400 lbs steers and 300-500 lbs sold 3.00-10.00 higher, the rest of the offering sold steady to 5.00 lower in a light test. Slaughter cows sold 3.00 higher and bulls sold steady; Demand uneven and supply light.

Compared to the last special two weeks ago, steer calves weighing 400-500 lbs sold 3.00-10.00 higher, 500-600 lbs sold firm to 5.00 higher, 650-700 lbs and a near load of 732 lb steers sold 6.00-8.00 higher, over 750 lbs traded with a firm to higher undertone on few comparisons.
