• Presidents’ Bar dress code has been updated to include jackets or sport coats for men, and dressy attire for women. This is in response to requests from members that the Club provide at least one space that feels more formal.
Women: • Suit, blouses, pants, skirt ensembles, or dress required. Tops: Polo shirts and turtle necks permitted. No graphic t-shirts, hoodies, or athletic wear. Bottoms: • No shorts or denim. Shoes: Clean and scuff-free shoes or boots. Non-athletic sneakers permitted. Women permitted to wear open-toed sandals.
The dress code at the University Club of Chicago requires business casual attire or better from Monday to Friday throughout the Clubhouse. On weekends, smart casual attire is permitted. However, in Cathedral Hall, a jacket and tie are required at all times.

The funny part is we were also invited several years ago but due to dress code restrictions at the time we weren't allowed to dine in. At the time several years ago I was wearing shorts & a polo shirt as the temps were in the low 90's (Jackets were required)
