What is the Relief Grant? Meat and farm workers have had to pay for PPE and childcare expenses and suffered lost wages quarantining because of the COVID-19 pandemic. To recognize your sacrifices, UFCW helped secure a $668 million USDA Farm and Food Workers Relief Grant for workers. Who Can Apply?
The grant program is being rolled out in phases to ensure successful outreach to all eligible workers. If you are a qualified worker, your open application period will be based on your work place location.
That is why each year the UFCW Charity Foundation awards several scholarships of up to $8,000 each to UFCW members or their unmarried dependents under the age of 20. UFCW employed officers, staff, and their immediate families are not eligible.
