More than 60 percent of respondents said they at least sometimes develop feelings for a hookup, and only 18 percent rule out dating a hookup. 12 kwi 2011 · UChicago appears to be one of the few universities with such a hookup site. In my experience, hookups often happen at parties, bars, or other social situations where the two parties may have been drinking or know little of each other.
The default has become hookup, and unless communicated, there’s not any expectation that it’ll become anything else. I’m also someone who completely cannot handle hookups without an emotional connection, so I make sure to start with communicating my intent.
