How do I become a participating landlord? When a family has been determined eligible for assistance, they will receive a voucher. Then they begin their search for a suitable unit.
A $1,000 incentive bonus will be given for the first five new housing units that a landlord rent to families with a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher on a first come, first served basis while funds are available. The bonus cannot exceed $5,000 per new landlord.
