Trotters World of Animals is a small zoo in the Lake District, home to over 100 species of animals including antelopes, zebras, gibbons, meerkats, tapirs, birds of prey, and reptiles. Handling of the animals is actively encouraged and there are displays and demonstrations held throughout the day.

20 lut 2012 · Took the Family to Trotters World of Animals which is based in Bassenthwaite Cumbria and had a good day. There are a decent amount of animals on display ranging from Deer and Zebra to Monkeys,Reptiles etc.
Amongst others there are lively lemur troops, wildebeest from East and South Africa, Lars gibbons, zebra, deer and rare breed domestic animals, all in spacious paddocks. There are also a wide variety of birds, from American Bald Eagles to Emus, and reptiles.
The Lake District Wildlife Park is a hidden gem. Set in breath-taking scenery just 10 minutes from Keswick, you will find plenty to see and do. See over 100 different animals from Anaconda to Zebra, Meerkats and Macaws to endangered species like Gibbons, Lemurs and Vultures.
