Every course at the Treetops Resort has a mind that it should be considered the best. Although the Premier course is often ranked near the fore, every course boasts most about its “signature” holes, and therefore Rick Smith can take some pride knowing that he designed the resort’s Signature course.
The resulting Signature course has narrow fairways and challenging greens that are considered the most undulating at Treetops Resort, which has 81 holes in total.
The Premier Course at Treetops Resort is the only Tom Fazio-designed golf course in Michigan and is as challenging as it is forgiving. It’s a very player-friendly course with many wide-open and rolling fairways, some of which are bowl-shaped, which helps to correct errant tee shots.
Treetops Resort boasts an astounding 81 holes of golf, including championship courses designed by Robert Trent Jones, Tom Fazio, and Rick Smith. There are four 18-hole golf courses and an interesting little par-3 layout. The Premier Course is the only Tom Fazio-designed golf course in Michigan.
