You should definitely be able to run TTR on a new MacBook Air that has a 10th Gen Intel Processor. Both the Air and the Pro would probably get hot, but I don't think I'd say they "overheat". If you're having any probably "overheating" on a Mac I highly recommend Macs Fan Control App.
