It is a great story to preach, loaded with significance as God takes hold of Abraham’s great-grandchildren.
Joseph was a God-fearing young man who stood out when compared to the evil behaviour of his brethren. We can either look at Joseph as a tale bearer and arrogant boaster before his father and brethren, or as a young man set apart by God who was simply living his life in an open and honest manner.
