Futuristic comic book spectacle fun, but riddled with guns. Read Common Sense Media's The Fifth Element review, age rating, and parents guide.
A PG-13 rating for sci-fi adventure with sex, violence, language and monstrous creatures. See details of nudity, gore, martial arts, explosions and more in this 1997 film starring Bruce Willis.
The Fifth Element: Directed by Luc Besson. With Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman, Ian Holm, Milla Jovovich. In the colorful future, a cab driver unwittingly becomes the central figure in the search for a legendary cosmic weapon to keep Evil and Mr. Zorg at bay.
1 maj 1997 · A star ship of aliens travels to earth carrying the fifth element to save the planet, but the ship is destroyed by the evil. From the wreckage, scientists discover a fragment of a human leg. Using a device which is instructed by the human’s DNA, a whole new human is re-created, specifically a woman named Leeloo (Milla Jovovich).
The film is pretty teen-friendly overall, though, so if they like sci-fi and don't mind the sex and admittedly thin plot, they will most likely really enjoy it. My MPAA rating: PG-13 for intense sci-fi action violence including a gruesome moment, and some sexual content, nudity, and a brief disturbing image. Show more.
7 maj 1997 · Korben Dallas to były komandos, a obecnie taksówkarz w NY w XXIII wieku. Wplątany zostaje w misję ratowania świata przed siłami zła pojawiającymi się raz na pięć tysięcy lat, a reprezentowanymi tym razem przez multimiliardera Zorga. Do jej zrealizowania potrzebuje mitycznych pięciu elementów.
our word to parents: Brief female nudity, mild profanity, and non-graphic, but plentiful violence give this film its PG-13 rating. A few shots of a woman’s breasts and the side of her bare buttocks make up the nudity and at the ending it’s implied that Korben and Leeloo are "fooling around" but nothing’s really seen.
