Stephen Sarkisian (born March 8, 1974) [2] is an American football coach and former player who is the head football coach at the University of Texas at Austin. He previously served as the head football coach at the University of Washington from 2009 to 2013 and the University of Southern California (USC) from 2014 to 2015.
Of the 28 Longhorns coaches, Bible, Royal, and Brown have been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Royal and Brown have each received National Coach of the Year honors from at least one organization. The current head coach of the Longhorns is Steve Sarkisian.
The 2020 Texas Longhorns football team represented the University of Texas at Austin during the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Longhorns played their home games at Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas. They are a charter member of the Big 12 Conference.
