Suddenly I have no minimap up in the top right corner. I've tried toggling the map, rebinding the map toggle key, joining different worlds, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and nothing seems to work.

Yeah, the tab key cycles between the different minimap settings. I got sick of it changing every time I open the steam overlay, so I remapped the control to the z key.
