Can't speak for [another company’s name deleted], as i have some doubts about them myself, but i can personally tell you Taxi.com most definitely is not a scam. They are not "preying" on artists at all and their listings are 100% real.
Taxi music cannot get your musical wok placed directly. It only forwards your work to the interested party who has the final say on whether to accept or reject your work. It is an expensive service.
Has anyone used TAXI? This is an expensive service ( $300 a yr) but I have heard from multiple people (whom I trust) that this is a legit service to get your music to the people that count. Any experience anyone? Here is the site for those curious. https://www.taxi.com/
