  2. Individuals can use TAP to manage their Utah individual income tax accounts. You have access to file, view, or amend your Utah income tax returns (current tax return and two previous years), check the status of refunds, make payments, request a payment agreement, and request a waiver.

  3. The following general information helps explain some features of Taxpayer Access Point (TAP). Individuals can file tax returns for the current tax year and pay income taxes (TC-40) without creating a special login called a “profile”.

  7. Your TAP account will automatically unlock after 60 minutes. You can also call TAP Support at 801-297-3996, option 1, or send a request to TAPSupport@utah.gov to have your account unlocked. Please include your account number and username.
