It normally does take several hours, yes, but there's no standard rate. It depends entirely on your equipment. it took me less than an hour from the time I decided to download it until the time the download was complete and I was playing but I have extremely fucking fast internet at my house.

25 gru 2011 · The installed game client is about 20 GB in size, but they also mentioned a few places that you will need about 27 GB of space during the download/install process. So be prepared for a bit of extra wait over that 20 GB time estimate. I do kind of know your pain, though.
If you use the steam download, it would go a lot faster. For me it took 6 hours through steam, but 12 hours through the web browser.

18 lis 2019 · Basically, if your download is slow, it's your system or your internet that is to blame. Sometimes it can be a slow hub somewhere between you and the servers. I've also read that some ISPs detect the SWTOR downloader as a "Torrent" and purposefully throttle it.
