Surveyor 1 (z ang. geodeta) – amerykańska bezzałogowa sonda kosmiczna, której celem było wykonanie pierwszego miękkiego lądowania na powierzchni Księżyca oraz wykonanie pomiarów na jego powierzchni.
Surveyor 1 was the first lunar soft-lander in the uncrewed Surveyor program of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA, United States). This lunar soft-lander gathered data about the lunar surface that would be needed for the crewed Apollo Moon landings that began in 1969.
Surveyor 1, the first of a series of seven robotic spacecraft sent to the moon to gather data in preparation for NASA's Apollo missions, was the first spacecraft to make a true soft landing on the moon. As such, it was one of the great successes of NASA's early lunar and interplanetary program.
