10 lip 2024 · On 14.09.2023, Supreme Court of India has onboarded its data on National Judicial Data Grid. Case data is available on NJDG for both civil and criminal cases with the ability to perform drill-down analysis based on the age of the case as well as the State and District.
29 lip 2024 · The pendency of cases in the Supreme Court rose by 35% over the past five years, reaching 80,765 by the end of 2023. In high courts, pendency increased by 33%, while subordinate courts saw a 38% rise.
30 sie 2024 · According to the National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG), there are 82,989 cases pending in the Supreme Court, an all-time high. The top court also managed to dispose of 37,259 cases, achieving a disposal rate of nearly 94.92%.

3 lut 2024 · In 2023, the Supreme Court had 78,400 pending cases at the end of January. At the same time in 2022, there were 70,101 cases pending. Though pendency has increased this year, it’s only by 1,821 cases. In contrast, pendency had increased by over 8,000 cases from January 2022 to 2023.
