20 lut 2022 · The Forester has a CD player, knobs for adjusting the HVAC, great visibility, large sunroof. The adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring are wonder for safety. Most impressive is how planted the Subaru’s feel on the road, dry and snow covered. I choose the Subaru over my 4x4 Silverado during inclement weather.
14 wrz 2022 · New Car Smell in Wilderness Interior. I'm ready to buy a Forester Wilderness edition after months of research. When I went for a test, however, the interior had quite the "new car" smell. This never bothered me when I was younger, but I know that car interiors have been shown to include lots of fire retardants, VOCs, etc. (all sorts of bad stuff).
10 mar 2018 · Buy 2nd gen or 4thgen. 3rd gen feels cheep, all cloth and softer materials of 2nd gen are plastic in 3rd gen. I don't care too much about the interior. All I care is it's reliable, can go for long distances, is comfortable to drive, and can do some off roading. And plus, I actually prefer cloth seats over the leather.
I have a 2018 Premium, about 85k and live in the PNW too. I have had no major problems so far and have been very happy with my Forester. You have probably noticed there are Foresters everywhere in the PNW. I have had other Subaru's since 1993, and this is, by far, the most reliable of the Subaru's.
