28 cze 2007 · I've narrowed it down to either the Kicker zx700.5 or the Soundstream tra880.5. Ive read a few reviews on the kicker all saying good things, however the soundstream is rated higher in terms of power. I'm an old school soundstream guy and I know the new orient-made stuff won't touch the o/s stuff but just wanted to know what you guys thought.

The other thing that confuses me is if it is better to get one amazing amp or 2 lesser amps. For example soundstream makes 1k watt amps for $1000 but 1.5k w for $2000. Intuitively more combined watts is better but I can only imagine that it is more complicated.
22 sie 2009 · Has anybody had experience with both the soundstream tatantula t5 15's and the kicker l7 15's. I have 2 t5 15's right now and this guy said has some l7's that he doesnt want and will sell them to me dirt cheap. So im trying to figure out what I should go with. Im looking for what hits the hardest.
9 lis 2010 · Soundstream XXX 18 gets 10,000 watts RMS, Kicker Solo X 18 gets 5,000 watts RMS. the kicker solo x may be rated for 5k but if you try to put it on that much Power daily you will have a dead sub. also i wouldnt recommend putting 10k to the xxx daily, but it will handle alot more than the solo x will, plus you can have it reconed.
Kicker has a value line called CS and CX if you are on a budget and don't want absolute trash.
