I have a Sony Vaio laptop (model # VPCF22KFX) with a built-in webcam. The webcam is not recognized by Windows 10 (it does not appear in "Device Manager" and "Add New Device" does not discover it). The webcam is not working. Is there a fix or new driver for this?
28 paź 2013 · Refer the Link to download the latest drivers from Sony Vaio Website: http://esupport.sony.com/perl/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=DRIVER&SR=nav:support:electronics:drivers_software:esup. Note: Type-in the correct model number, and download the drivers for the webcam. Hope the information helps.
I have a Sony VAIO VPCS135FX. When I start any app that uses the webcam (such as Skype), it turns the green light as if it was working, but it only shows a black screen, instead of recording real time. I already tried to download the camera device from https://esupport.sony.com/US/p/model-home.
If your integrated webcam is not working since Windows 10 update or upgrade, the problem is likely to be caused by faulty drivers or driver conflicts. To fix the problem, first, check the driver status in Device Manager.
