In ancient Greek religion and mythology, Helios (/ ˈhiːliəs, - ɒs /; Ancient Greek: Ἥλιος pronounced [hɛ̌ːlios], lit. 'Sun'; Homeric Greek: Ἠέλιος) is the god who personifies the Sun.
