The solution is to copy the "SOLIDWORKS 2022 SPXX.X" from your Documents folder in your Mac Library to "C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\" and route the installer to this location when it asks where "sldim" is. This worked for me on an M2 Mac and using Parallels.
Just managed to get solidworks 2021/2022 running on my new 16 inch macbook pro with an M1Max. Running parallels with an ARM based windows 10 version. Everything seems to be working except electrical and cam, both of which depend on an SQL server that I haven't figure out how to get working yet.
I prefer torrent sites. I was using http://mactorrent.co but it seems to be down. Anyone know of an alternative? These visual sites are full of spam. They are basically trying to trick you to install certain software so be aware!
