21 wrz 2024 · I am running Windows 11. Snipping tool video has stopped recording full length videos. On the screen, during recording, it shows that the video is recording because the timer clock is still counting. But when I stop it and save it, it is only a few minutes that either actually recorded or will save. I have plenty memory and hard drive space.
28 lut 2024 · I believe the issue we are all having stems from another application called snip & sketch which included the ruler function. (now merged into snipping tool) I have found an alternative for creating a straight line within snip tool if this is all you require. if you hold down the SHIFT key as you create the line it will snap at 45 degree increments.
4 lis 2023 · I will first recommend that you reset or repair the Snipping Tool. Open Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > click 3 dots on the side of Snipping Tool > click Advanced options > click Reset or Repair. I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

Once done, press the Win + S keys together to launch the Windows Search utility. Search for the snipping tool and launch it. Disabling the Print Screen key to open the Snipping Tool: (Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard > "use print screen key to open Snipping Tool") I turned that off. The only effect that had is that while snipping tool still opens upon pressing the key, it no longer takes a screenshot. Great ;( .
