Shaver Lake is stocked with 50,000 Kokanee fingerlings and 10,000 Rainbow trout each year in the 11-13 inch class. Since the lake fluctuates so much, the Kokanee do not have an opportunity to spawn very well. The Kokanee do get up to about 18 inches by late Summer.
