2 mar 2023 · Sequential vs Batch Injection — what is better? In a carburetor, we have a more or less constant stream of fuel being mixed with a more or less constant stream of airflow through the venturis.
An Article on the advantages and differences between batch and sequential fuel injection and how it will affect drivability, idle, power, and fuel atomization
That CAS, or Cam Angle Sensor, is the only major difference between having what it takes to run Batch/Bank Injection versus running Sequential Fuel Injection.
7 kwi 2024 · Much easier to tune and more predictable. And being a V8, I have the typical slight VE imbalance between the two sides despite having very well matched injectors. With batch fire, you just have to accept an average. With sequential, you can tune each bank, or individual cylinder.
3 paź 2024 · Sequential Fuel Injection: A form of port injection where each injector fires individually in sequence with the engine’s firing order to precisely time fuel delivery. Direct Injection: Injects fuel directly into the combustion chamber for greater control over the combustion process.
Timed vs. Batch. Sequential is a bit of a misnomer. Technically, all EFI systems are sequential in that once all cylinders have been injected, the sequence starts from the beginning again. A better term would be timed, implying that the starting and finishing of the injection pulse is timed with the intake valve opening.
