Thuận B. "Scotty" Nguyễn (born October 28, 1962) is a Vietnamese-American professional poker player who is a five-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner, most notably as the winner of the 1998 World Series of Poker Main Event [1] and the 2008 World Series of Poker $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. World Championship.

In 1998 Scotty was still broke after losing almost all of his money to drugs and partying. When then summer of '98 came around he knew he had to play in the World Series of Poker somehow.
Nguyen's bad habits of over spending and drug use caught up to him and after a bad losing streak, he went broke. He would go broke several more times. His most famous line at the table was to Kevin McBride heads up at the 1998 WSOP Main Event "You call this one, and it's all over, baby!"
