7 cze 2012 · By default, Windows Explorer only runs one instance of itself per desktop – when attempting to run it via runas, the new process will only ask the first instance to open a new window. You should be able to start explorer /separate, however, and navigate to the Control Panel from there.
If you are connecting to a remote network/VPN and the remote/domain password gets out of sync with the local machine, use RunAs to open a second prompt explicitly passing the domain and username to force a password sync. runas /user:SS64Dom\User64 cmd.exe. Enter the domain password.

27 wrz 2022 · The command RunAs can be used to execute programs and commands as a different user than the one signed in. Runas can be used on all Windows versions and dates back to Windows 2000. You can often right-click on a program in the user interface and select “Run as administrator”.
