6 paź 2021 · The first game of the Fall tournament will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, at the Walt Anderson field in the southwest corner of Rippey. The game will begin at 10:30 am. The Rippey Demons will have the home field advantage. They are part of the Mid Iowa Baseball League for those 48 years of age and older.

2 cze 2024 · (The best way to follow the schedule of games at Rippey is to follow the “Rippey Ballpark Commission” on Facebook.) Admission to the games is cheap – it was $5 for Friday evening’s game. The concessions are terrific, with volunteers staffing the grill and sales stand.
12 maj 2021 · Baseball will once again be played in Rippey with a scheduled tournament May 14, 15, and 16. The first Rippey game was played in the 1880s and the team was called Hard Scrabble Boys. People walked or rode horseback or came in buggies for those Sunday afternoon games.
