My British collection spans about ten manufacturers and I’ve lined up a selection of miniatures in the photos below.

  4. The French and Indian War range by Redoubt Enterprises is quite impressive, and based in the UK. Somewhat larger than Dixon's range, but compatible, especially if based individually for skirmish.

  5. I decided to have a crack at the Muskets & Tomahawks rules and put together a few small forces for this game. The vast majority of my troops are 28mm models from Galloping Major (absolutely superb large 28mms) combined with a handful of Redoubt Miniatures and Sash & Saber castings.

  6. 9 mar 2013 · The Redoubt Indians have long and very detailed (in fact, quite exquisite) muskets, that outdo even the weapons on the Perry figures. Compared to these, the FR and Conquest muskets/rifles are much shorter and chunkier.

  7. I agree that Galloping Major and Redoubt fit very well together and they both have an extensive ranges - Redoubt slightly more but Galloping Major is slowly catching up. In my opinion both ranges paint up really well and the sculpting is first class..
