However, RLM doesn't do that. People spoke of the US media effectively giving Trump a billion dollars worth of advertisement through coverage in the 2016 election. I wonder how much RLM has effectively given to the owners of all those shitty B movies.
He was the sweetest, nicest person and I told him how special it was to be able to tell him how much RLM has meant to me and how excellent their videos consistently are. I was probably so starstruck but it was honestly such a treat to have experienced.
RLM is incredibly durable, but it's one of the very few longterm YouTube success stories, and there is still the constant threat of demonitizations and disinterest. And at the end of the day, we don't really know their finances, ambitions, business plans, personal lives.
What are your favorite RLM in-depth discussions? Meaning more like the Jack and Jill episode, the box office returns prediction video or recently discussing movies made from products (a la the Hot Cheeto movie).
RLM mainly just review things they are interested in reviewing. Just look at their 2023-2024 output.
I'm new here, but have been watching RLM for a few years now. I've noticed that they have kinda stopped doing Half in the Bag reviews for new movies. I think I first noticed that when they didn't do one for the 2021 Dune.
