Formerly used as custom warehouses, the constructions have been renovated into a shopping mall and event venue welcoming the cultures of the world.
The historic Yokohama Red Brick Warehouses, completed in 1911 and 1913, are among the most advanced examples of red brick constructions of their day. Their service as warehouses ended in 1989; they were reborn as cultural and commercial facilities in 2002.
