12 lip 2015 · I'm using RealTerm and a USB to RS422 converter for the job - here's the result: Sony's VISCA protocol says packets should start with an address like 0x80 and end with 0xFF. Why there are no visible packets in that sample? What does the "UART receiver framing error" represent? Here is the list of commands that could be sent by this controller.

5 sie 2020 · I am trying to use RealTerm to send a .txt file containing a 10X10 array of data to my STM32 NUCLEO board using an UART. So far I have been using HAL_UART_Receive_DMA and I have been able to store simple lines of data in a 1-D buffer, but I would like to store the data as an array I can then perform some operations on.
21 sty 2011 · RealTerm, a freeware Windows terminal program, lists these UART rates in its Baud menu: 110, 150, 300, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200, 230400, 460800, 921600. However these are actually bits per second (bps), not baud -- see below. 110 baud was used by 8-level Teletypes like the ASR-33.
13 lis 2020 · I doubt the TeraTerm software itself is limited to 921600 baud. If it is there are plenty of others like RealTerm that are not. As for hardware, the fastest FTDI C232HD cable can go up to 12Mbps, and most of their other cables/chipets work up to 3Mbps \$\endgroup\$ –
8 maj 2016 · PuTTY works well as a general terminal emulator but for work with embedded systems I prefer Realterm which has a lot of support for working with binary / hex. When sending a file you get the option to set a delay between each character, each line and can send the same file multiple times with a delay between each time:
