So what exactly is R/C Warship combat? It is a hobby where scale model warships, armed with low-pressure CO2 cannons, fire small ball bearings at an opposing ship. When enough holes are put in the easily punctured balsa wood covered hull to overload the internal bilge pump, the ship will sink.
Founded in 1978, the International R/C Warship Combat Club, Inc. (IRCWCC) is the original organization dedicated exclusively to promoting safety, good sportsmanship and fun in the hobby of radio controlled semi-scale model warship competition.
This is RC Warship Combat! THE hobby centered around building scale models of WWI and WWII battleships (as well as smaller vessels) that can fire upon and sink each other.
Model warship combat is an international club activity, in which participants construct radio-controlled scale models of actual warships, most commonly those built by various nations prior to 1946, such as the USS Des Moines or the German battleship Bismarck.
