14 sie 2006 · In neither car does the fuel gauge read linearly. I can confirm for a fact that the 1/4 mark corresponds to 1/2 tank of petrol left. Try it, when the gauge reads about 1/4, pump a full tank of petrol and compare the volume of fuel pumped to the fuel tank size of 50 litres.
7 mar 2005 · My wira's fuel gauge not function well. When i pump more than half tank, the fuel gauge show the right figure.After less than half tank, it will go up and down or not move. Is it cause by the faulty fuel gauge and how much will it cost? Or I heard someone said it might cause by the sensor in fuel tank. Is that
24 gru 2004 · I have sent to proton to check and when they plugged in the PDT it shows Fuel Pump error. So i have changed the fuel pump and erase the error but still the problem occurred. Right now what i do is unplugged the battery (for few hours, sometimes days) then plugged in back, then the car will start.
5 lip 2008 · I'm also facing a similar problem. My fuel consumption has gone up for my Wira 1.5A. Used to average about 350km per full tank 5 years ago. Now, its about 260km per tank, since the last 2 years. I just changed my auto transmission last mid year but no change in the fuel consumption.

26 lut 2015 · Check fuel supply from fuel pump, fuel filter (maybe clogged), if you take out fuel filter and too much dirt came out from it, then high possibility your injectors maybe clogged too. Get it cleaned. Check fuel pressure regulator that is at the end of the fuel rail.
