It’s a type of worship where you allow the Holy Spirit to speak and sing through you, expressing praise and adoration to God in a unique and personal way. The purpose of prophetic worship is to bring us into deeper intimacy with God, allowing us to hear His voice and respond in obedience.
Simply put, all worship, and not just what we call “prophetic” worship, together with addressing one another in edifying ways, as well as expressions of gratitude to God in the name of Jesus, must flow out of the overflow of the Spirit’s presence in our lives. Our concern is with vv. 19-20.
