Primal Fear is a massive dino mod for the game ARK: Survival Evolved. This mod adds varying tameable tiers of dinos, as well as special boss dinos. Currently, you can tame Toxics, Alpha's, Apex, Fabled, Omega, Buffoon, Celestial, Demonic, Elder, and Elemental.
Primal Fear currently has over 200 different creatures in it, and more creatures are added in the development process. Toxic Creatures. Toxic creatures are the first tier of tamable creatures you will encounter. They have a special ability using Secondary attack, which drains stamina rapidly along with increasing your torpor.
Apex Creatures are the fourth tier of creatures that Primal Fear adds to your Ark experience. They require Apex Kibble to tame which requires Alpha Blood and Elemental Egg to make. They have a x10 stat multiplier from their vanilla counterparts, you must tame them to be able to progress to higher tiered creatures.
There are tools and items that are added with Primal Fear to allow players to work up the tiers to become the ultimate survivor. The following are some guides made by the Primal Fear team to help players in their progression of the mod.
Tier 0: Mini Bosses. This tier currently includes Captain Black Boulder and File:Mod Primal Fear Artifacto the Great.png Artifacto the Great . These are bosses that can give special loot or tames. Upon killing these bosses they will drop their respective summoner to summon the version which can be tamed.
